This
is a probation and bail hostel in Highbury, housing 19 residents placed
there by virtue of some order under the criminal justice system. It
works, amongst others, with high risk offenders. It provides support
and challenge, individual and group counselling, and has links with
other Mission services in drug rehabilitation. The funding for the
house and its work comes from the Home Office, to whom the Mission
is responsible
in its proper running. Plans are emerging for a new hostel on this
site. |
