  • Corporate Partnerships
  1. Get involved

Corporate Partnerships

Businesses have the skills, resources and motivation to make a huge difference in the lives of people affected by homelessness, poverty and trauma. There are many ways your company can support our work:

  • Make us your Charity of the Year

Nominate WLM as your charity partner and our dedicated account manager will work with you to design a bespoke partnership including volunteering, fundraising, event participation and much more.
  • Take a place in one of our events

Run, swim, cycle, come to one of our Cinema Screenings or organise an event of your own to raise funds for WLM. Find out if your company has a matched giving scheme so your sponsorship can go even further.
  • Office Fundraising

From bake sales, to swear jars, to office Olympics, fundraising in your office is fun and boosts staff morale. Here are some ideas from us:
  • Halloween: Guess the weight of the pumpkin
  • Board game tournament
  • Chilli cook-off
  • Golf tournament
  • Face painting afternoon
  • Great British Bake Off
  • Movember Moustaches
  • Donate the cost of your morning coffee run
  • Valentine’s day cake sale
  • Spelling bee
  • Office quiz
  • Guess the baby pictures of office staff
  • Sports Day
  • Bingo
  • Guess the number of sweets in a jar
  • Wimbledon/World Cup Sweepstakes
  • Raffle
  • Packed Lunch Day- everyone makes a packed lunch and you donate the money you would have spent buying lunch out
  • Sponsored Silence
  • Sponsored Sobriety
  • Spa day- if there are budding hair stylists, nail technicians or makeup artists, ask colleagues to book a slot on a Friday afternoon and donate the price to WLM
  • Office breakfast
  • Add our website to your email signatures
  • Swear Jar
  • Office Olympics
  • Afternoon Tea
  • Give as you earn

Staff can support WLM through payroll giving whereby contributions are deducted before tax. For a basic rate tax-payer, every pound given only costs you 80p – even less for higher rate taxpayers.
  • Donate gifts

from our Wish List, including jeans, socks and toiletries.
  • Volunteer

at a morning’s breakfast at our centre for rough sleepers in Marylebone or at a Digibuddies session in Lambeth, helping people with IT skills.

During the last years, our corporate partners provided incredible support to WLM. Some of the highlights include:

  • Blackstone volunteered at WLM Seymour Place throughout 2018, took part in the Sleep Out and our running events. Over Christmas, they donated over £35,000 through grants and events.
  • Lane Clark and Peacock took places in every single challenge event in 2017 including WLM's Annual Sleep Out, which they raised over £10,000 for. They run creative office fundraising activities throughout the year and are always looking for innovative ways to combat homelessness in their local area.
  • NatWest began by supporting WLM Money Champions with a £35,000 grant in 2017 and have since volunteered at WLM Seymour Place, taking part in our sponsored Sleep Out and the Santa Run. They will be supporting our Money Champions programme again in 2019 with another £35,000

'We have had the pleasure of partnering with WLM for a few years now, over this time our partnership has developed in many ways. WLM are always keen and open to look for new ways we can support each other with new and exciting office fundraising event ideas, challenge events and volunteering opportunities. WLM has a firm presence within our company, as a result of this partnership, which has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience to enable us to work with you and achieve so much.’

 - Abbie Clift, Lane Clark & Peacock LLP
