Our waiting list for individual and group therapy sessions is closed until we reopen face-to-face from our new address, 12 Woodfall Road, N4 3JB, later this winter.

Please check our website for an update and contact us nearer to the time if you would like to access therapy at WLM HCC.

All our sessions are currently held online, through video call or telephone and this will continue until our building reopens and it is appropriate/safe for face to face sessions to resume.

Please get in touch if you'd like more information via email at [email protected] or leave us a voicemail at 07903 629 520, with your name, contact number, and best times to call you back and we will get in touch.

WLM HCC is running a year-long therapeutic group for adults, and we are open to new client referrals. The group takes place every Wednesday, from 11:30am to 1pm.

Group therapy has a long, proven record as a highly effective and useful form of psychotherapy. It is as helpful as, and in some cases more helpful than, individual therapy particularly when social support and learning about interpersonal relationships are important objectives of treatment.

Group therapy offers you an opportunity to:

  • Receive and offer feedback
  • Improve interpersonal relations and communication
  • Talk honestly and directly about feelings
  • Gain insight and understanding into ones’ own thoughts, feelings, and behaviours by looking at relationship patterns both inside and outside the group
  • Gain understanding of other people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
  • Improve self-confidence, self-image and self-esteem
  • Undergo personal change inside the group with the expectation of carrying that learning over into one’s outside life.

When you contact us about joining the therapy group, you will be asked to complete a brief intake form and organize an initial consultation with the group therapist.

This initial consultation aims to offer you a space to discuss your concerns in person and in more detail, answer any questions you may have about joining the therapy group, and establish that this will be a suitable therapeutic option for you at this time.
