Chaplaincy Volunteers

Homelessness, addictions, offending: What’s faith got to do with it?

The West London Mission is part of the Methodist Church. For 130 years we have been engaged in pioneering work to transform the lives of people affected by homelessness, addictions, and offending. Today, we run eight different Social Work services which provide emergency support and accommodation to marginalised people.

Alongside this complex social work, our Chaplain offers spiritual support and guidance to our clients and residents. It is a key expression of WLM’s inclusive Christian ethos.

We are looking to increase the capacity of our Chaplaincy service by appointing 2 or 3 Chaplaincy volunteers. We seek people with a confident and mature Christian faith who can work inclusively and appropriately alongside our professional staff.
