30 March 2021

Across the country, everyone has been affected by the pandemic. Each of us has had to change our lives beyond belief. The same is true for WLM.
We have had to sacrifice much but can also celebrate achieving much. All of our homes remained open, the number of rough sleepers in Westminster has dropped to a fifth of what it was before and we played our part helping people into hotels and then supporting them once they were there. Our counselling services have continued online, as have our courses on fin

ancial hardship and computer literacy.

Now we want to get ready for those most affected by the pandemic, those in growing debt, unemployed, most isolated, scared or lonely.

Our plans are:

  • To run a range of courses supporting those struggling with the fallout from the pandemic
  • To open our new counselling centre in North London
  • To open the doors again at our two community hubs in Kennington and Marylebone
That we can reach out and support those who need our support.

We hope you have a lovely and safe Easter.
