WLM welcomes interim CEO, Roger Clark We are very pleased to have Roger Clark on board as our interim CEO following Jon Kuhrt's departure. We look forward to continuing building on the momentum that Jon Kuhrt built, who will now take on a full-time position in the Rough Sleeping Initiative Team at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Roger was the Deputy CEO of The Passage. During his 9 years at The Passage, he has worked closely with WLM and currently Chairs the WHAT (Westminster Homeless Action Together) network. Roger has twenty years of experience of working in the homelessness field including previous senior roles at DePaul UK and at Business in the Community. He has considerable experience in the faith sector and has a wide range of the skills and experience relevant to WLM. WLM's Superintendent, Rev Peter Cornick, commented: 'I am delighted that Roger has joined WLM as Interim CEO. He will provide us with stability and above all confidence. Roger has a strong background in the homelessness sector as well as in financial management which, together with his Christian faith, will be an asset to WLM. I look forward to working with Roger.' WLM's interim CEO, Roger Clark said: 'Advent is often considered a time to take stock and be thankful. It is therefore not naturally a time to seek new opportunities or look to change tried and tested routines. However, when I became aware that the Interim CEO vacancy at West London Mission would be coming up, I felt compelled to put myself forward for such a change. In your work, I saw many aspects of what I have strived for in 20 years of helping homeless people in trying to be a good neighbour to those in need and challenging injustice. I am humbled and honoured to get the opportunity to serve the mission, for however long I am meant to.'
